2009 results
Fifteen finalists from across the country went to Las Vegas, Nevada, November 6, 7 and 8th, to compete in the 15th annual FORTY FRAME GAME NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Players bowled three preliminary rounds narrowing the field to a final six who went head to head Sunday morning for the championship at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall.
The championship event annually pays more than $24,000 in prizes and awards to all finalists.
This year’s champion is Darrall Garner of Ypsilanti, Michigan who won first place with a score of 1058. The second place finisher was Del Blankenship of Cleveland, Ohio with a score of 978. Darrall and Del both qualified from this year’s Toledo, Ohio tournament site. Our other finalists who came from Toledo, Reno and Las Vegas were the following:
