Do I need a reservation? 

Reservations are required for our tournaments.  Walk-ins are accepted IF space allows.  We cannot guarantee open squad times and lane availability.  Please contact us first before arriving.  Call (800) 837-4010 or email us at fortyframegame@sbcglobal.net.  DO NOT SEND US A FACEBOOK MESSAGE.  Also, we are not in the office on weekends!  We are at the bowling center!  Please do not call our office on weekends with an urgent message.  We may not be able to respond to you in time.  Please email us with any urgent messages.  Thank you!

Is there a dress code for bowling in The Forty Frame Game?

There is no dress code for bowling in The Forty Frame Game (only in the FFG National Finals).

Why am I required to report my winnings prior to bowling?

Not disclosing your winnings prior to bowling could result in disqualification from the tournament if you place in the prize list.

What average do I use?

FFG uses your last year’s average of at least 42 games in a certified or non-certified league unless you are currently 10 pins or more over with at least 21 games at which point we would use your current average.  We do not use composite averages.

What if I don’t have a current bowling average?

If you have no current average or an average for any of the past 4 years, you may have to bowl scratch.

What if I used an incorrect average at check in?

You will have 7 days after the date of bowling to correct your average.  This must be done in writing and sent to The Forty Frame Game corporate office.

What if I’m not a USBC member?

You must pay a USBC $5.00 participation fee which can be purchased at the tournament site.

Can I cash more than once in the Main Prize List?

You may only cash once in the Main Prize List.  Your highest score will be used. 

Can I cash more than once in the Optional events?

You may cash as many times as you have winning scores in all Optional events.

Can I double with someone on another squad?

You and your Doubles partner must be on the same squad.
